Stacy Jessel comes to the ministry of Spiritual Direction with 30 years of ministry leadership in the Anglican church as Worship Leader, Teacher, and Director of Family Ministries as well as over 20 years in the field of Leadership Development.
Stacy serves as a Spiritual Director locally and as an Associate Director with Coracle (inthecoracle.org), as well as a Table Host and content contributor with The Presence Project, created by Rev. Summer Joy Gross. Her practice includes a specialty in Developmental Soul Care and various Presence Practices.
Stacy is a certified Life and Ministry Coach through Anchored Coaching and completed her Spiritual Direction training through
Anam Cara, in the Diocese of the Mid-Atlantic.
Stacy is available to facilitate retreats.

from the Direction process
With the fast pace of the world today, we all can get caught up in cycles of anxiety.
Longing for peace, we vacillate between striving and numbing, which leaves us more and more depleted.
Attachment theory, modern brain science, and ancient, contemplative Christian practices can forge a path leading us more deeply into the heart of the Father.
Services
Individual Spiritual Direction
When the LORD saw that he had turned aside to see this great sight,(why the bush was not consumed),
God called to him out of the bush. (Ex 3:5)
I believe that God is always “lighting bushes on fire” in our lives and waiting for us to notice and draw near. Spiritual Direction is a form of holy companionship; a friend for the soul, who listens with you, to notice, recognize and learn to trust the Voice of the Divine in your life.
Typically meets for 60 minutes once a month.
Group Spiritual Direction
A way of listening and reflecting in a community of 4-6 fellow seekers. A facilitator guides the group to share their spiritual journey through prayer, silence, sharing, and reflection. It is a ministry of listening whereby we deepen our connection to the Divine and hold space for one another to encourage spiritual growth and increase self-awareness. The group builds a sense of mutual support that allows members to be seen and heard at a deep spiritual level.
Typically meets monthly for 90 minutes.
The Pathway Home Developmental Soul Care
A unique approach to spiritual formation developed by Sarah Herring M.A., S.D that uses spiritual practices to position people to experience developmental affirmations/truths in the context of their relationship with God. In the pathway of our lives, we all have uneven places where our foundations were not well built. Traumas and losses can be like diversions or rocky places where we get stuck again and again. By going back to the early affirmations of a healthy life, empowered by the Holy Spirit, we can encounter God as He brings truth, repair and well-being to our souls.
Meets twice monthly for 60 min sessions.
Table in the Wilderness Soul Care Series
In this 8 week small group series we introduce the concepts of Attachment Theory, modern brain science, and ancient contemplative spiritual practices and their influence on our relationship with and understanding of God. With the fast pace of our world today, we can get caught up in cycles of anxiety. In this gentle series we find a pathway to safety and rest in the heart of the Father.
Meets for 8 weekly sessions of 90 minutes.
Life/Ministry Coaching
A Christ centered, goal oriented partnership helping individuals align their lives with God’s purposes to foster emotional, spiritual, and personal growth. Biblical wisdom and actionable strategies developed through active listening and insightful questions enable the individual to break through obstacles, improve leadership, navigate transitions, and maximize potential. Coaching can be an excellent resource to achieve goals in career, ministry and relationships with a focus on forward movement and goal achievement.
Meets monthly or twice monthly as decided.
